Preview: Zenos E10

For enthusiasts in North America it can be frustrating to see the assortment of track day cars that are only available to buyers in Europe. Fortunately for us, Zenos, a company founded by former Caterham boss Ansar Ali and engineering exec Mark Edwards, vows to bring their wares across the pond to us Yanks. The first of these offerings will take of the form of the E10: a lightweight, two-seater track day car that promises a power-to-weight ratio of 300hp per ton.

WR TV: 2014 Roush Stage 3 Ford Mustang GT POV Test Drive

While a new factory-stock Ford Mustang GT is a capable performer in its own right, once the guys at Roush get their hands on it, this pony is transformed into a whole new animal. While the Roush Stage 3 package sports a host of suspension, brake, interior and appearance upgrades, the star of this particular show is clearly Roush’s exhaust upgrades and the supercharger bolted atop the GT’s 5.0-liter V8. Output now stands at 575 horsepower and 505 lb-ft of torque, and when mated to a six speed manual transmission like this particular example is, tires everywhere tremble in fear.

With five decades of heritage and over 9 million examples sold, the Mustang has become an American institution. It’s long been known that Ford was planning something big for 2015, the Mustang’s 50th anniversary. In recent months, rumors and speculation about the new car hit a fever pitch, but aside from the occasional spy shot of test mule cars clad in extensive camouflage, details about the new pony car have been achingly scarce. That ends today.
