Gallery: Nine Amazing Ford GT40 Cutaways

Cars, Features I By Winding Road Staff I January 28, 2014
Motorsport Retro brings us this amazing collection of Ford GT40 cutaways that showcase the complexity and timeless charm of the legendary GT40. Especially notable for its consecutive victories at the Le Mans 24 Hour between the 1966 and 1969 seaons, the Ford GT40 continues to be remembered as one of the greatest racing cars of all time. One has to wonder what the competition would have done to get glimpse under the skin of these dominating brutes back in the 1960s.

As an added bit of trivia, there’s a number of different variants of the GT40 depicted here – can you name them all? Click here for the high resolution gallery
