This off-season Winding Road Racing will be offering test days in Global MX-5 Cup cars for 2018 Pirelli World Challenge TCA and 2018 Global MX-5 Cup pro racing. Generally we run these in concert with a track day or an open lapping day.
As you may have discerned, there is a sweeping change that has been rolling through the tiers of production car racing in the U.S. This shift is designed to both lower the cost of cars (or at least limit development expense) and to make competition reliably close.

When Henrique Cisneros in the No. 30 MOMO NGT Motorsport Ferrari 458 GT3 Italia stalled at the start of Race 1 in the GT class race during Cadillac Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, it caused massive havoc. Among the numerous competitors taken out of the race, the No. 37 Blancpain Racing Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2, piloted by Maximilian Voelker, seems to take some of the worst of it as he gets bounced around like a pinball by multiple collisions before he even gets a chance to cross the starting line.

A few weeks ago the organizers of the Pirelli World Challenge released a race season schedule for 2015, but today they announced another date that they’re added to the roster, as well as what they’re pretty sure is almost the finalized calendar for 2015, which we’ve included here.
