Ask It: 2012 Audi A7 3.0T Quattro

Reviews I By Brandon Turkus I June 21, 2011
Joining the luxury four-door fastback/liftback/coupe craze for the 2012 model year is the Audi A7, and we just happen to have one sitting in our parking lot. Equipped with a supercharged 3.0-liter V-6, Audi’s signature Quattro all-wheel drive, and an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox, the A7 looks to provide a real alternative to the more expensive Mercedes-Benz CLS.

Our tester comes in Dakota Gray metallic paint, with an interior finished in beige seats, black carpets, and wood trim. It also happens to be the top-end Prestige trim level, meaning the S-line exterior trim package, Audi Connect wireless internet, MMI navigation, a Bose stereo, and air-conditioned front seats, among other options. Replacing the standard nineteen-inch wheels are a gorgeous set of twenty-inch rollers. With a starting price of $59,250, our tester has been optioned out to $68,630.

We’ll be driving the A7 for a full week, with Editor-In-Chief Seyth Miersma taking it on a road trip to The Big Easy. Feel free to post any questions or comments you might have, and we’ll get back to you with the answers.
