Base Versus Loaded: 2013 Ford Fusion

Reviews I By Brandon Turkus I May 25, 2012
We try to stay on top of the pricing game with Base Versus Loaded, delivering you with the most up-to-date pricing information on new and exciting cars. This time around, we’ve got preliminary pricing for the 2013 Ford Fusion. That preliminary bit is important, as there’s a fair chance that some of these prices could change before the vehicle actually launches. We’ve also estimated the Destination charges based on other cars in the Ford range.

The new Fusion has no shortage of technology, which is particularly noticeable on the top-spec Titanium model. With a starting price of $32,995 for an all-wheel-drive Titanium, it’s over $10,000 more than the standard front-drive S. Trim it out with goodies like adaptive cruise control and a driver-assistance pack, and you’ll be knocking on the door of $40,000.

So what do we think loyal readers? Is $39,660 too much for a Fusion, even one that looks this good and has this level of technology and optional extras? Sound off in the comments section below.
