We love what this Dutch company has done with its distinctly European racer by making it ultra light (1433 pounds), keeping it track-friendly, but adding a bit of touring luxury to the D8 GT. The company’s first hardtop features semi-gullwing doors and a hinged rear window to provide access to the luggage compartment.
Bentley has declared its intention to return to the world of racing. Ten years on from the debut of the Continental GT Concept, the British brand has debuted a racing version, called the Continental GT3 Concept.
The power the 2.0T developed wasn’t the story here, though. Neither was the impressive 32-mile-per-gallon highway rating (although it’s certainly worth mentioning). Where the EcoBoost seems most impressive is when the 2.0-liter and 3.5-liter are driven back-to-back.

Ahead of its official debut in Geneva, Lotus has given up the details on the lightweight Elise Club racer. The racy stripper is more than 50 pounds lighter, thanks in great part to a lightweight battery and the removal of sound-deadening materials.
Ariel has announced, in tandem, the Spec Racer Atom car and race series. The SRA is a modified version of the Ariel Atom 3 set up specifically for racing in this series. Purchase of the car includes a first year Virginia International Raceway Club initiation fee.
