We love what this Dutch company has done with its distinctly European racer by making it ultra light (1433 pounds), keeping it track-friendly, but adding a bit of touring luxury to the D8 GT. The company’s first hardtop features semi-gullwing doors and a hinged rear window to provide access to the luggage compartment.

The Donkervoort D8 GT is powered by a 1-8-liter, Audi-supplied turbo-four, capable of about 266 horsepower. Other info on this seldom-heard-of car has been mostly elusive, as it has received little coverage over the years. We’re happy just to gaze upon it, and dream.
