Check out this piece of forbidden fruit. The Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT tS, for the Japanese market, is tuned up by STI.
Upgrades include a Bilstein suspension, sport exhaust, and eighteen-inch alloys with performance tires. The interior gets a reworked instrument panel, alcantara and leather sport seats, titanium trim, and an STI steering wheel and shift knob. A front lip spoiler and rear spoiler for sedan and wagon top off the package.
STI has left the 2.5-liter turbo boxer-four untouched, to our slight dismay.
While we probably wouldn’t take the Legacy GT tS over a WRX STI, that wagon variant does look pretty enticing.
