Kia has just unveiled a seriously good looking concept at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show. Called simply GT, it’s a significant departure from anything we’ve seen from the South Korean manufacturer before.
High-performance sport utility vehicles are a lot like veggie burgers. Yes, they can be tasty, but the whole time there’s this sense that the meal is trying to be something it’s not, which of course, is the exact truth. That doesn’t automatically mean the feast is destined to be a bad experience, just don’t take a bite expecting it to taste like a medium-rare hamburger.
Between the civilian $90,500/$101,500, 380-horsepower Porsche 911 Carrera 2S coupe/cabriolet, and the $131,400, less-civil, 435-horsepower, track-oriented 911 GT3 there is apparently a chasm, nay, a lacuna in the so far 19-model 997 911 range that needed filling desperately by another 911 offering.
IND has put the finishing touches on its BMW M3 project car, which has been nicknamed the Blue Max. Inspired by the BMW M3 GTS and IND’s own Atlantis project IND’s newest creation has received a treatment including a lot of carbon fiber, a roll cage, interior upgrades, and, of course, some goodies under the hood.
Suzuki revealed it’s newest version of the beloved new Kizashi sedan at the New York Auto Show today, and, no, it’s not a V-6 model. The 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport, in fact, changes very little in terms of dynamics.
