Rumors: Spy Shots—2014 Cadillac CTS

Shout out to the spy photographers over at MotorAuthority for snapping these photos of a heavily camouflaged Cadillac CTS out frolicking about in the snow. Updates for the 2014 car should included changes to the hood, front fenders and fascia, as well as revised headlights, tailights, and several other cosmetic changes. The car will likely feature extensive use of LEDs in its rear lamps, and the tailpipes even get a makeover with new trapezoidal outlets, à la the Lexus LS sedan.

At this point, there is little information available in terms of performance and mechanicals, but there is speculation that the 2014 CTS will ride on the Alpha platform, the same that underpins the upcoming Cadillac ATS. The current generation CTS is a great car that has helped sustained Cadillac through lean times in more ways than one, so an update to its bread-and-butter offering will hopefully bring even more goodness to the table.
