Video: The Nuts And Bolts Of The Newest Mercedes AMG

A new AMG is usually a pretty big deal. A new AMG that costs less than $50,000, on the other hand, is a huge, stop-the-presses deal. That’s sort of the way we’ve been treating our coverage of the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG.

With 355 horsepower, 326 pound-feet of torque, a 4Matic all-wheel-drive system, and a slick seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, it should deliver just the sort of performance demanded by the AMG badge. Moreover, it should be loaded with the kind of technology that’s been a defining characteristic of all AMG products. AMG’s are fast, but there’s a great deal than just a big engine under the hood.
