Kia has released full details of the Kia EV9 Electric SUV, its first three-row seat electric flagship SUV, which is expected to spearhead the brand’s rapid transformation to a sustainable mobility solutions provider. Based on the Electric Global Modular Platform, the EV9 has an all-electric WLTP target range over 330 miles on a single charge and 150 miles with 15 minutes ultra-fast 800-volt charging time. It also introduces the Kia Connect Store, which enables customers to purchase digital features and services on demand, and the Highway Driving Pilot system that enables conditional Level 3 autonomous driving in selected markets.
The Kia EV9 Electric SUV has been designed to meet the needs of all family members, and the all-electric SUV has a unique balance of natural and modern elements in its design, reshaping the SUV user experience for millennial families. The vehicle offers a range of seating options that cater to diverse needs, and it is expected to go on sale in selected global markets from the second half of the year.
