Racing Prodigy joins Street Kart Racing to kick off the PRL SK Racing X30 Miami Cup on July 1st.

The world of motorsports is about to experience a groundbreaking event as Racing Prodigy teams up with Street Kart Racing to bring fans and gamers an exciting tournament. Season 1 of the Prodigy Racing League (PRL) will feature the PRL SK Racing X30 Miami Cup, which will mark the league’s first mobile simulation competition. With the aim of making motorsports accessible to everyone, Racing Prodigy is revolutionizing the industry by blending real-world racing with mobile gaming.

Starting on Saturday, July 1, the PRL SK Racing X30 Miami Cup will challenge mobile gamers on iOS to compete on a real track through the Street Kart Racing game. In a move to support Racing Prodigy’s mission, the game will be available for free throughout the entire tournament, allowing a wider audience to experience the thrill of motorsports.

The PRL X30 Miami Cup will feature daily qualifiers from July 1 to July 22, seeking out talented sim racers from around the world. Participants must register at www.RacingProdigy.com and be at least 13 years old by the final day of daily qualifiers to be eligible for the tournament.

Street Kart Racing is one of the four game titles, including iRacing, rFactor 2, and RaceRoom, that have partnered with Racing Prodigy for 12 PRL events running until October. Winners and top performers in these tournaments will receive a coveted Prodigy Pass™, granting them the opportunity to compete in real Radical SR1 race cars at Prodigy Week™. From October 30 to November 1, the event will take place at Atlanta Motorsports Park, where racers will receive expert instruction on racing technique, fitness, and communication.

As the first tournament of season 1, the PRL iRacing GR86 Cup Open Challenge will conclude on July 2, crowning the first Prodigy Pass winner. Fans can tune in to Racing Prodigy’s Twitch channel on July 1 and 2 at 1 pm EDT each day to witness the thrilling semi-finals and final races. The tournament has attracted sim racers from over 65 countries, showcasing the global appeal and excitement surrounding Racing Prodigy’s innovative approach.

CEO David Cook of Racing Prodigy is eager to witness the skills of the mobile racers competing in Street Kart Racing throughout the tournament. He believes that the precision, timing, and coordination required to excel in the mobile game are qualities that can be transferred to real-life racing, enabling these talented racers to further enhance their abilities. Cook emphasized the importance of the PRL in making motorsports more accessible through esports, reducing financial barriers, and creating opportunities for millions to pursue their dreams.

Ross Jones of Street Kart Racing and Co-Founder of Fat Cigar Productions LTD expressed his delight in partnering with Racing Prodigy. This collaboration offers mobile sim racers with just an iPhone the chance to train and compete in real-world racing, with the hope of one day becoming professional racing drivers. By playing Street Kart Racing and participating in the Racing Prodigy competition, talented individuals with an iPhone can seize this unique opportunity.

Following the success of the first Prodigy Week, Racing Prodigy has plans to host a second Prodigy Week in early 2024, inviting an additional 35 Prodigy Pass winners. This will create a pool of 50 of the world’s most talented drivers from which PRL teams will draft. The ultimate goal is to offer those drafted a paid contract to compete in PRL’s inaugural real-world racing series in the United States, scheduled to launch in 2024.

The PRL SK Racing X30 Miami Cup is set to captivate motorsports enthusiasts and gamers alike, blending the virtual and real-world racing experiences in an unprecedented manner. As Racing Prodigy continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of motorsports, the league’s vision of making racing accessible for everyone becomes closer to reality.
