Here we see Winding Road Racing driver Jeff Sexton (#89, Mission Hill Advisors) in a lengthy battle with Honda driver Tom O'Gorman (#94, GridLife) during a Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car race at Circuit of the Americas. Pirelli World Challenge uses an extensive amount of car dynamics data (lateral g's, braking force, acceleration etc) captured from each car in the series via MOTEC data systems to equalize the maximum performance of different cars. This system is referred to as Balance Of Performance (BOP) and has proven successful in making each class in World Challenge very competitive. Different cars still make speed in different ways, but as Jeff and Tom show, overall the cars are very equal and the competition is exciting.
