Lamborghini has launched a brand-new podcast series titled Beyond: A Lamborghini Podcast. But this isn’t your typical corporate podcast. This show aims to take us on a journey behind the scenes of the iconic Sant’Agata factory, uncovering the stories and personalities that make Lamborghini what it is today.
Hosted by Tim Bravo, Lamborghini’s Director of Communications, and the talented broadcaster Giulia Salvi, known for her expertise in lifestyle and music, Beyond: A Lamborghini Podcast promises to be more than just a glimpse into the automotive world. It challenges the conventional norms of brand interaction by exploring diverse subjects such as music, art, design, science, fashion, and more. This podcast is all about going beyond, delving into the passions and inspirations that drive the people behind the brand.
The premiere episode which aired on July 11th, features none other than Stephan Winkelmann, the Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. As Lamborghini celebrates its 60th anniversary and achieves remarkable sales and turnover figures, Winkelmann takes this opportunity to reflect on the company’s success. He shares insights into Lamborghini’s ambitious “Direzione Cor Tauri” plan for the future and discusses some of his personal achievements. It’s a rare chance to hear the CEO of a renowned company in such a reflective and inspiring mood.
Winkelmann beautifully captures the essence of going beyond when he says, “It’s about what we do and how we do it, creating icons that will endure for decades. But it’s also about how we approach things, as a team of people living here in the ‘Motor Valley.’ It’s not just about the automotive business, but how we tackle challenges and seize opportunities.”
In the inaugural episode of Beyond: A Lamborghini Podcast, Winkelmann doesn’t shy away from discussing the challenges Lamborghini faces during this transformative era for the automotive industry. The decisions made today will shape the company’s future and determine Winkelmann’s legacy.
“Having dedicated yourself to the same company for such a long time, you become a part of its history and the history of the product,” Winkelmann reflects. “You bear a tremendous responsibility because we are a small company with high investments. We can’t afford to make mistakes. Right now, we’re navigating the company through a revolutionary transition from internal combustion engine cars to plug-in hybrids, and eventually, with all the opportunities and challenges, to full electric cars. Being part of this puts immense pressure and responsibility on our shoulders.”
Beyond: A Lamborghini Podcast is available on popular platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts. For a fully immersive experience, you can watch the podcast on YouTube, and Lamborghini enthusiasts can also find it on the special podcast hub at Lamborghini.com/podcast. With new episodes dropping monthly, fans can look forward to regular doses of exclusive insights and captivating conversations.
