To enter the new millennium, the Lamborghini that replaced the Diablo had impossibly big shoes to fill – enter the Murciélago. At debut, the 580hp V12 (increased to 670hp in the later-released SV models) rocketed the new Lambo to 60mph in under four seconds, and was the last V12 Lamborghini to have a manual transmission.
