Video: Vuhl 05, Catherham 620R, And KTM X-Bow
Two amazing new open-top track cars, the Vuhl 05 and Caterham Seven 620R just recently made their debuts. Along with their competitor, the KTM X-Bow GT, these cars took to the hill climb course at the Goodwood Festival of Speed to prove their mettle. The best part is, we get to see it all on video.
Each car’s motor displaces 2.0 liters.
The Vuhl 05 is a new car from a company in Mexico. It is powered by a 285-horsepower Ford EcoBoost engine, giving it a 0-62 time of 3.7 seconds.
The Caterham Seven 620R features a 311-horsepower Ford Duratec engine, and it the fastest to 60 miles per hour in just 2.8 seconds. All that extra power is a trick to manage, and you can see the Caterham get squirrely powering out of the corners.
The XTM X-Bow gets its 237 horsepower from an Audi TFSI motor, and can sprint to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds.
