Video: 2014 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Sneak Preview

News I By John Beltz Snyder I June 14, 2013
Mercedes-Benz hasn’t revealed the all-new 2014 S63 AMG yet, but a video showing the production of the new S-Class contains a little surprise for those paying attention.

In the video below, we see the new S-Class being assembled at Mercedes’ Sindelfingen plant. Keep watching, though, and at about the 6:54 mark in the video, we see an S63 AMG in white, with a worker with a knowing look on her face getting inside. A few seconds later, and we can clearly see the S63 badge and part of the unmistakable AMG badge on the trunk lid.

The 2014 S63 AMG will use a 5.5-liter biturbo V-8 to produce 536 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque put to the wheels via a seven-speed Speedshift transmission. It will include a sport exhaust, 20-inch wheels, and AMG-calibrated active body control. We can probably expect an official debut fairly soon.
