Maserati Ghibli Teased, Will Slot In Below Quattroporte

News I By Brandon Turkus I April 08, 2013

According to a video posted on Maserati’s Facebook page, the Italian brand will release images of the new Ghibli sedan on Wednesday, April 10.

For those not in the know, the Ghibli will slot in below the Quattroporte in the Maserati hierarchy. That means it should be Mercedes-Benz E-Class/BMW 5-Series size, but with all the soul we expect of a car wearing a trident on its nose.

From there on out, everything is conjecture. There are rumors of six-cylinder gas and diesel engines, along with a Ferrari-sourced V-8 finding its way under the Ghibli’s hood. While we don’t expect to get all the details on Wednesday, getting a look at the car may be enough to sate our appetite for sexy Italian sedans.

Check out the video below, and head over to the Ghibli’s microsite to sign up for updates. We’ll have the pictures posted when they’re released on Wednesday.
