Over the weekend, Lotus unveiled the ultra-limited Evija Fittipaldi Edition, celebrating 50 years since Emerson’s 1972 World Drivers’ Championship – just 8 will be produced.
What makes this car special? The over 2,000hp (most ever in a series-production car)? The John Player Special tribute paint-job? We think it has to be the car’s rotary dial on the floating central instrument panel. The dial is made from recycled aluminum taken from one of the driver’s Type 72 race cars. Incredible.
Words don’t really do this special car the justice it deserves, so here are a few photos.
