Galpin Auto Sports (GAS), a renowned car customizer based in Los Angeles, has once again pushed the boundaries of automotive design with their latest creation. This time, their canvas was the iconic Ford Bronco, and their inspiration came from an unexpected source – the Grammy-winning pop-rock band, Imagine Dragons.

Unveiled for the world to see at SEMA 2023, Galpin Auto Sports’ Ford Bronco is a one-of-a-kind off-roader that captures the essence of both the Bronco’s heritage and the musical magic of Imagine Dragons. The collaboration between GAS and the band resulted in a remarkable vehicle that seamlessly marries the world of music and automotive artistry.

The Imagine Dragons-inspired Bronco is based on the rugged Badlands four-door model. What sets it apart is its unique and nostalgic styling. The design team at GAS drew inspiration from the older Broncos, giving this modern off-roader a retro touch. At the front, you’ll find a Ranger-style grille and badging, paying homage to the Bronco’s heritage. The standard wheels have been swapped for custom aluminum wheels from Fifteen52, finished in a striking gold color that complements the Eruption Green metallic paintwork. These wheels are wrapped in rugged 37-inch Toyo Open Country M/T tires, ensuring this Bronco is ready to conquer any terrain.

The gold accents extend to the detachable roof and the grille, creating a harmonious contrast with the vibrant Eruption Green. The vehicle not only boasts stunning looks but also impressive off-road capabilities. To enhance its performance in challenging terrains, GAS has equipped the Bronco with a 2.5-inch Camburg suspension lift kit and Bilstein shocks. These modifications make it clear that this Bronco is not just a showpiece; it’s a true off-road warrior.

Further enhancing its off-road prowess, the Imagine Dragons-inspired Bronco features Body Armor 4×4 bumpers, an IAG off-road grille, and auxiliary lights. To protect the engine while maintaining optimal airflow, there’s a Rouse Performance Air Induction system. In addition to its off-road upgrades, this Bronco caters to outdoor enthusiasts with a rooftop tent, an awning, a fridge, camping chairs, and a fire pit. It’s the ultimate SUV for those who love to venture into the wilderness and enjoy the great outdoors.

What makes this custom Bronco even more special is its charitable purpose. Galpin Auto Sports has decided to auction off this unique vehicle at SEMA 2023, with all the proceeds going to the Tyler Robinson Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Imagine Dragons. The foundation is dedicated to supporting families who are facing financial and emotional challenges due to their children’s medical diagnoses. Named after Tyler Robinson, a devoted fan of the band who battled a rare form of cancer, the foundation embodies the band’s commitment to making a positive impact beyond the stage.

While the exterior modifications of the Imagine Dragons-inspired Bronco are dazzling, the interior has not been neglected. The cabin is adorned with custom Katzkin saddle upholstery, providing a touch of luxury and comfort. Additionally, the sound system has been upgraded thanks to Rockford Fosgate, ensuring that the music inside matches the band’s musical prowess.

Beau Boeckmann, the President and COO of Galpin Motors, expressed his excitement for this project, stating, “This build is right in our wheelhouse, and I’m thrilled to work with SEMA on this special project for such a great cause. We can’t wait for Imagine Dragons to see how we ‘Galpinized’ this awesome Bronco.”

This project is not Galpin Auto Sports’ first foray into customizing Broncos. In the past, they introduced a retro-inspired Bronco two-door, also showcasing the captivating Eruption Green paintwork, paired with a more subtle Ferrari Avorio Beige. Each of these unique builds showcases the boundless creativity and expertise of the GAS team.

In the world of automotive customization, the Imagine Dragons-inspired Ford Bronco by Galpin Auto Sports stands as a testament to the limitless possibilities that can be achieved when two creative forces come together. It’s more than just a vehicle; it’s a symbol of artistic collaboration and a force for good, all wrapped in the rugged and stylish package of a Ford Bronco. This remarkable off-roader is sure to capture the hearts of automotive enthusiasts and music lovers alike, while also making a meaningful contribution to a worthy cause.
