Rumors: Auto Show—2013 Cayenne GTS To Show In Paris

News I By Doran Dal Pra I February 09, 2012
According to AutoEvolution, the upcoming Porsche Cayenne GTS won’t show at the Geneva Motor Show as originally anticipated, but will instead arrive at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, which takes place from September 29 to October 14.
Like the previous Cayenne GTS, the 2013 model will pack more power and deliver improved handling over the standard model. We can expect a 4.8-liter V-8 tuned to around 430 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. This is a fairly substantial increase over the previous car, which “only” brought 409 hp and 370 pound-feet of torque to the table. Those figures allowed the GTS to make the sprint to 60 miles per hour in about 5.5 seconds. So, if we factor in that the 2013 GTS has more power and will likely benefit from less weight than the previous generation, it should make for one spirited driving experience and give its rivals a serious run for their money.
