If there’s one thing that Mercedes-Benz has taught us over the last few years, it’s that the suffix “63 AMG” is a powerfully entertainingly one. Certainly the C- and E-Class get along fine with AMG-tuned V-8 engines, and given what a leap forward we found the basic ML this summer, we expect the high-po version to be the best driver’s SUV in the history of the model. (Small expectations, yes?)
While we already featured images of the new-for-2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class, the press release describing the improvements for the Tuscaloosa, Alabama-built SUV has just been released. The restyling looks to be fairly thorough, with the ML borrowing cues from several different Mercedes models. We can see SLS AMG in the grille, with CLS in the headlights, and E-class in the taillights.
It seems as though Mercedes-Benz has taken the wrapper off of its new 2012 M-Class SUV, showing a completely revised exterior design.
In addition to the top-dollar S400 Hybrid that Mercedes-Benz unveiled, they’ve also added this gasoline/electric powertrain to their SUV lineup in the ML450 Hybrid. Just…
