BaT Find: 1993 Eagle Talon TSi AWD

Here we have another great Bring a Trailer find, surely one that will make your 90’s heart pound: a 1993 Eagle Talon TSi AWD 5-speed with under 70,000 miles!  Not only that, but it’s had the same owner for almost 30 years, who acquired the car when it had just 10,000 miles back in 1993.  This one has been modified and is said to make around 400hp on pump gas, and still retains the stock exterior (sans wheels/original headlights), and it looks fantastic.

Why do I feel the need to feature this auction?  My very first car back in 2001 was a 1992 Eagle Talon non-turbo, which I literally drove the wheels off after going through 2 transmissions and a motor.  My first car suffered the fate of the majority of 90’s DSMs (Talons/Eclipses/Lasers) in the early 2000’s during the Fast and the Furious craze, so these cars have become quite the unicorns the last decade or so.

I was lucky enough to replace my first car before these were impossible to find.  On eBay in 2007, I found a 1994 Eagle Talon TSi AWD 5-speed with just 66,000 miles.  It now sits undercover in my mother’s garage (since 2008 – THANKS MOM!), and I’ve toyed with finally selling her (the car, not my mother) for the last few years, but I know I’ll never be able to find another Electric Blue first-gen Eagle Talon TSi AWD again.

Yes, this one has been modified, however it’s been under the care of basically the original owner, who did the modifications ages ago, so this is one to watch.  Where do I think it’ll end up?  Hard to say, but my guess is around $25k (a bit more than the original MSRP!).
