Detroit 2013: Hyundai Previews HCD-14 Concept Ahead Of NAIAS

News I By Brandon Turkus I January 07, 2013
The 2013 North American International Auto Show press days are just a week away, which means it’s high time we start seeing some teasers. In this case, Hyundai has given the obligatory peak at what it’s calling the HCD-14 Concept. Sexy name.
The HCD-14 is a design study for future Hyundai products. From what we can see from the sole image, it looks like a four-door coupe, in the same vein as the Audi A7 and Mercedes-Benz CLS. Hyundai promises it’ll use “advanced 3-D gesture-based technology controls,” which we hope means those cool holographic computers Tony Stark uses in the Iron Man movies.
The HCD-14 makes its debut on Monday, January 14 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. We’ll be reporting live from COBO Hall on both Monday and Tuesday, so be sure to check back for the latest news and debuts from this year’s show.
Please scroll down for the official press release from Hyundai.
