Rally School: Left-Foot Braking Video

Team O’Neil Rally School is doing a little bit of public service by sharing this video explaining the craft of left-foot braking.

 

This is not what they taught you in Driver’s Ed, but they also didn’t teach you how to win races, either. If you want to use this technique to go fast, you’ll have to override your typical road-driving habits of using your right foot to go and stop. A little practice, and you’ll be making that middle pedal work for you.
