Perhaps you think you want a Radical. But really, you want this car.
We’ve talked to many racers who drive production-based cars, like cars in SM or T2/3/4 or GTS, and almost to a person, they say “I’d love to drive a Radical,” or “When I can afford it, I want to get a Radical”.
They are so right and they are so wrong. We know, because we race a Radical and now we’ve driven the Wolf GB08.
Radical, as the name suggests, make some pretty radical track cars, with which some of us at Winding Road have had some great experiences. It’s no surprise then, that we’re pretty excited about Radical’s newest model, the Le Mans-inspired RXC, which the company is calling the “world’s most extreme road-legal coupe.” We’re hoping that “road-legal” part extends to the US, too, as it is slated to become available here.
We recently had the opportunity to race at Circuit of The Americas. We took four cars and two editors to the track during the recent SCCA Majors BFG Super Tour weekend.
