After months of speculation and conjecture, Audi finally took the wraps off its new third-generation two seater sports car. Suffice to say that if you’re a fan of the look of the first two generations of the Audi TT, you probably won’t have much to quibble about with this one.
Cadillac recently announced that the next-generation CTS wouldn’t be offered in a wagon. This makes us sad, as it essentially means the death of the superb CTS-V Wagon. Have no fear, though, as Audi’s come to the rescue with this. It is the RS6 Avant and it will be very fast.
Audi has given its halo car, the R8, a significant refresh for 2013. Both the 4.2-liter V-8 and the 5.2-liter V-10 are soldiering on for remainder of the R8’s first generation, but we’ll be giving a sad (okay, it’s not sad at all) goodbye to Audi’s R-Tronic automatic transmission. In its place will be a new, seven-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch gearbox.
Audi has released images and details for the new Q3 ahead of its debut in Shanghai next week.
What’s not to love about the Audi R8? Well, besides the R-tronic transmission. This is one of the sexiest supercars that we’ve been able to get our hands on, and Audi has now upped the ante on its R8 hotness by removing the roof. The R8 Spyder will be hitting our shores next year in 5.2 V-10 guise, and we’re already planning our summer drive routes for this exotic droptop.
