With each successive year, the electric vehicle is looking more and more like a realistic alternative to gas. Just take a look at how the segment has expanded, with offerings from Toyota, Honda, Ford, and Nissan. Now, GM is getting back in the EV game, offering an electrified version of the Chevrolet Spark.
Honda took the wraps off the Fit EV at the LA Auto Show. The car will be available for lease in Oregon and California beginning the summer of 2012, with East Coast availability in 2013.
Throughout its last generation of vehicles, from the middle of the last decade and on, Volvo has, rather quietly, been building a lineup of fashion-forward, mature, and good-to-drive cars. The range has been characterized by what might be described as “stylish restraint,” with subtly good-looking products being churned out of the design department, and capable, non-flashy sorts of driving experiences on offer.
