It’s with a heavy heart that we report that SLS AMG’s days are numbered, despite having only been on sale in the US since 2010. However, Mercedes-Benz plans to give the coupe a proper swansong in the form of the limited-run SLS AMG GT Final Edition, which is set to debut next week at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

Mercedes-Benz has published pricing information on a pair of hotly anticipated AMG models. Starting AMG’s halo car, the SLS AMG Black Series, potential owners should be willing to shell out $275,000 for the most hardcore AMG model. Pricing on the C63 AMG Edition 507 starts at $70,000 for the sedan, while the two-door model will demand $72,500. Both models tack on an extra $925 for destination.

Bonham’s will be auctioning off this 1954 Mercedes-Benz W196 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 12. It was driven by none other than El Maestro himself, Juan Manuel Fangio, five-time Formula 1 world champion.
