Ford has unveiled the new generation of its Fusion mid-size sedan today. The new car is a significant upgrade over the old Fusion, boasting a host of new technologies and fuel-efficient powertrains. For fuel-sippers, hybrid and plug-in hybrid Fusions will also be available.
Lincoln’s Ford Taurus-based MKS is getting a refresh for 2013. The standard 3.7-liter V-6 will now net 300 horsepower, a 26-horsepower gain from 2012. Despite the added power, highway fuel economy is up 3 miles per gallon to 28 highway (and 19 city) mpg.
We love it when automakers decide to unveil a new car, especially when they aren’t doing it at the auto show currently taking place. We may be knee-deep in New York materials, but Mercedes-Benz went and pulled the trigger on the new 2010 S-Class; more specifically, the S600 and S400 Hybrid.
