After 8 years on NBC, Jay Leno’s Garage is reportedly being cancelled.
Starting with a 964-era Porsche 911, Singer Vehicle Design takes what is arguably the best platform from Porsche’s air-cooled era and reconstructs the 911 from the ground up, mixing parts from various eras and types of 911s as well as uprating various mechanical components to create what they’d consider the finest example of a “pure” 911 experience.
It’s not everyday we get the opportunity to extensively ogle a Pebble Beach winning vintage Italian sportscar that’s more scarce than a Maserati Zagato. That’s why when Jonathan Segal dropped by Jay Leno’s garage with this incredible example of a 1956 Maserati A6G-2000 Allemano, we definitely took notice.

On a mere six-month visa, the Focus RS’ turbocharged five-pot was tuned up to 420 horsepower, up from the stock 305 ponies, thanks to Ford tuner Mountune. While 420 horsepower is plenty, it’s even more intense when channeled through the front wheels. Can you say torque steer?
