Day one of the 2012 Geneva Motor Show is pretty much over. There was quite a bit of new and exciting sheemetal crossing the stages today, and we made sure to cover as much as we could. Aston Martin has unveiled a bevy of improvements to the smallest member of its range, the Vantage. Most of the changes in the range were on the standard V8 Vantage, while S and V12 models solider on almost entirely unchanged.

Audi’s latest car to wear the legendary RS badge has arrived. The 2013 RS4 harkens back to the original RS4, coming in a long-roof Avant body style only (the second-generation car was available as a sedan or convertible, in addition to an Avant).
Nissan has just taken the wraps off of its Hi-Cross crossover concept. This design study points at future styling directions for the Juke and Murano, and the European Qashqai crossovers.
Mechanically, the GTI Cabriolet doesn’t depart much from the hardtop car. The 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder is still under hood, sending 207 horsepower to the front wheels via either a six-speed manual or a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. Seventeen and eighteen-inch wheels are still available as well.
Lotus has presented a convertible version of its hardcore, supercharged, V-6-powered Exige S at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. Fitted with a manual soft-top roof, the Exige S Roadster should deliver all the fun of the blown Exige while adding a healthy dose of fresh air.
