Unlike the Toyota GT 86 that we posted earlier (which could, but probably won’t, be tweaked when it gets its Scion badge), this is most certainly what the Subaru BRZ will look like when it hits North American shores.

Of course, we probably won’t see the Scion badged version until January’s Detroit Auto Show. In the mean time though, the world debut of the Toyota GT 86 offers quite a bit of information about the car that will debut in about six weeks.
New York 2011: Scion FR-S Coupe Concept
Scion has revealed its version of the rear-wheel-drive, boxer-powered sports coupe. Called the FR-S (which stands for Front-engine, Rear-wheel drive, Sport), the attractive concept is inspired by Toyota’s iconic AE86 Corolla.
