While only a concept at this point, the LF-CC serves as a precursor for a new mid-size coupe coming from the Japanese manufacturer sometime in the near future (we’d bet our bottom dollar said mid-sizer wears the IS badge). The hybrid system consists of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine mated to an electric motor, and will see duty in several Lexus models. While we still haven’t gotten a firm yes or no on the Audi Q3 being sold stateside (the fact that the Q3 Vail Concept was shown at Detroit may indicate a lean towards yes), if/when the crossover does arrive, we sincerely hope that a production version of this concept will come along with it.
