Saleen’s GT4 offering was offically unvelied as a concept in Las Vegas last Friday. Based on their new Saleen 1 which competes in their own dedicated Saleen Cup Series, the specs point to it being quite a formidable chassis in world challenge next year. It’s also quite a beautiful machine in GT4 trim as well.
While the current batch of plug-in hybrids are seen as some of the most environmentally friendly vehicles on the road today, it’s tough to beat the environmental credentials of a hydrogen fuel cell car, whose emissions are just a few drops of water. Audi has gone a step further with the Audi A7 Sportback H-Tron Quattro Concept, adding an 8.8 kWh lithium-ion battery that can be recharged via a power socket, giving the fuel cell vehicle even more flexibility. But perhaps even more intriguing is the fact that this one actually sounds fun to drive.
Lexus has unveiled their latest design study in the form of a 2 + 2 roadster that recalls the distinctive looks of the LF-LC Concept that debuted in Detroit in 2012, and the currently-in-production RC coupe, which has yet to see a convertible model added to its roster. Hyundai has announced that a Legato Concept developed in partnership with Ark Performance will be on display at SEMA in Las Vegas this November. Based on the Genesis Coupe, the Legato receives an upgraded design and performance enhancements.
Maserati has introduced a limited edition concept version of the Quattroporte by Ermenegildo Zegna which “blends the classical and the contemporary.” It is meant to preview a limited edition production version. The Zegna edition uses color schemes, materials, and finish to create a unique and special version of the Quattroporte.
