The three-hour charge time is downright reasonable when compared to a Volt or Leaf, which can take anywhere from nine to 13 hours to recharge (based on our experience). And like the Volt, there’s absolutely no sense of range anxiety, as once the battery is drained, the car becomes a standard, fuel-sipping Prius hybrid.
Honda’s CR-V isn’t a bad car. It’s comfortable, safe, reliable, not bad looking, efficient, and has all the creature comforts expected of a vehicle in its segment. It’s an all-around good vehicle if you need a lifted, five-passenger vehicle that can sip fuel. The problem is, it’s like driving water.
To me, the LaCrosse is simply a mode of transportation. I don’t particularly feel any sense of engagement while I’m driving it. It’s numb, comfortable, and that’s about it.
