The final Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae, exiting the gates of Automobili Lamborghini’s Sant’Agata home for delivery to its Swiss owner, is a special Roadster.
Last week, the final Lamborghini Aventador rolled off the assembly line in Italy, marking the end of the naturally aspirated Lamborghini V12.
Ride along as I do my best to keep up with Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series champion Shinya Michimi and FIA GT champion Justin Bell around Auto Club Speedway’s sports car course in the Lamborghini Aventador S.
The Lamborghini Aventador is the stuff that wall posters are made of: a low, wide, angular supercar packing a 700 horsepower V12 and some of the latest technology available in today’s road cars. But for some, like the German-based supercar customizers at Mansory, that’s simply not enough. Unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the Carbonado GT is Mansory’s take on Lamborghini’s range topper, and it brings the Aventador to an entirely new level of extremity.
Wonder what it’s like to go 200 miles per hour with the top down? You can do it in the 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster. No, we haven’t had a crack at it yet, but the fellas over at Car And Driver were lucky enough to get behind the wheel, and kind enough to share the experience with readers.
Color us a bit surprised by this tasty little rumor—Lamborghini is apparently bringing a four-door GT version of its Aventador supercar to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Imagine you’re 15 years old again and you catch a glimpse of the Lamborghini Aventador for the first time—It would have the same life changing impact as, well, an adult seeing the car for the first time, actually.
After a plethora of spy shots, we have finally gotten our first look at the latest creation from Lamborghini. Known as the Aventador LP700-4, the new model takes its name from a famous fighting bull that locked its horns in 1993 at the Saragossa Arena in Spain and won the prestigious Trofeo de la Peña La Madroñera for the courage it showed in the pit.
Lamborghini sent us this single photo of the Murciélago replacement prototype riding around in camouflage ahead of its Geneva debut.
