While we enjoyed our time in the all-new 2015 Cadillac Escalade, its that luxury SUV’s blue-collared, trailer-pulling cousin, the Chevrolet Tahoe (and its long wheelbase variant, the Suburban), that will really steer the course for this generation of GM’s full sized sport utilities.
 
This week we get up close and behind the wheel of the all-new Tahoe LTZ. Boasting a direct-injected 5.3-liter V8 that generates 355 horsepower and 383lb-ft of torque, here in 4WD configuration the Tahoe has a rated towing capacity of 8400 pounds while maintaining a respectable fuel economy rating of 16 city and 22 highway.
 
Featuring GM’s Magnetic Ride Control suspension system, HID headlights and a fully automatic locking rear differential, the best selling full size SUV on the market continues to improve on an already successful platform. But while facts and figures are great, seeing it in action is even better:
