WR TV: 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S – Detroit 2014 Walkaround

Cars, Reviews I By Winding Road Staff I January 19, 2014
At last week’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Multimedia Editor Chris Amos got a chance to get up close and personal with the latest boosted 911 from Stuttgart.

Sporting a biturbo 3.8-litre flat-six producing 560hp and up to 553lb ft (with a special overboost feature), Porsche says it’ll hit 62mph in 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 197, as well as lap the Nürburgring in 7 minutes and 27 seconds. All that performance doesn’t come cheap however, as the new Turbo S commands a base MSRP of over $182,000.

Let’s take a look at what you get for that fairly sizable chunk of change.
