Involvement Notes: Sportified GS isn’t a huge improvement on the standard model, but that’s mainly because the regular GS350 is so good. Feels more confident and stable in the bends, and somewhat more talkative.
3.5-liter V-6 is powerful enough, although we were still left craving a V-8 version. A sonorous engine, thanks its Intake Sound Creator, which pumps sweet sounding intake noise right into the driver’s ears. Arguably one of the sweetest sounding powerplants Lexus has ever built.

Comfort Notes: Bigger wheels and stiffer body hurt ride, and therefore the comfort score. Still a really nice place to spend some time, with all the excellent tech of the standard GS. Refreshed cabin for 2013 is a major improvement over the dated interior of the last-generation car.
Ride is quiet with good control of wind and road noise. Great stereo, arguably better than BMW or Mercedes, and on par with the Bang & Olufsen system that Audi offers in the A6.
