If you are looking for the best track day car that you can drive to the track, look no further. Porsche actually builds GT3s to work on the track, and we know from working on many other supercars that this isn’t always the case. But the really big thing comes from how drivable GT3s are, and in this recent generation, Porsche has concentrated on drivability even more. Then there is the reliability of the GT3 on the track, where it just seems happy to turn lap after lap after lap. Top that off with the GT3 magic of feeling so wonderfully alive and responsive, without being twitchy and, well, as we said, look no further.
At $224k, the GT3 RS ain’t cheap, but try to think of another car that does what this does for less. We’re pretty sure you can’t think of a car that is better for less, so we’d say the 911 GT3 RS qualifies as good value. Also:
518 hp
9000 rpm redline
Big aero
PDK (going this fast you’re going to want PDK)
And…just look at this thing. Yeah, we’re in love.
