Watkins Glen Walls + Light Rain + Slicks = “Interesting”

We've said it before and we'll say it again: MX-5 Cup offers some of the closest racing in the country. Here we ride with Winding Road customer racing driver Tom Martin III at a recent Battery Tender Global MX-5 Cup race at Watkins Glen International. WGI is a very high speed circuit, so when you add a little rain to the tight pack racing of MX-5 Cup you get plenty of tricky moments, starting on lap 1, turn 1. We thought Tom did a nice job of keeping it clean, while almost bringing home the hard charger award by moving up 7 positions.
