Volkswagen’s Latest Ad Campaign Revisits The “Punch Buggy” Game

Everyone knows how to play this game. You’re driving in the car with a friend (or maybe an enemy) and you pass by a Volkswagen. Without even thinking, you punch your copilot and say, "Punch Buggy!" (We’ve also heard "Slug Bug" and "Punch Dub," but those aren’t nearly as cool.)

Volkswagen’s latest marketing campaign involves bringing back the Punch Buggy game, with a new advertisement featuring "Sluggy Patterson," the creator of the game. You could wait until the 2010 Super Bowl to see the ad on your television, but we have it embedded below.
