Video: BRZ tS Is A Taste Of Forbidden Fruit

News I By John Beltz Snyder I August 26, 2013
A while back, STI’s Japanese website teased a tuned version on the Subaru BRZ—one we hoped signaled a future BRZ STI. Sadly, it turned out to simply be a mostly cosmetically tuned BRZ tS for the Japanese market. Still, that’s nothing to balk at, and we now get to see the car in its video debut.

The BRZ tS benefits from an STI sport rear suspension, 18-inch STI wheels, and Brembo brakes. Other upgrades include a new front spoiler and updated front seats. A GT package includes an adjustable dry carbon rear spoiler, Recaro front seat, and 18-inch BBS wheels.

The Subaru BRZ tS will be limited to 500 examples, half of which will get the GT package.

Check it out in the short video below, and continue to keep your fingers crossed for a proper BRZ STI in the future.
