The Future of Electrified Muscle

Cars, News I By Justin Cornelison I August 29, 2022

Last week, Dodge unveiled what it’s calling “the future of electrified muscle.”  The Charger Daytona SRT is an electric performance coupe meant to carry the torch passed by the outgoing Charger and Challenger.  This new EV is touted as being faster than a Hellcat.

Banshee, the name of the electrified power unit, will have 800 volts making it faster than the V8 Hellcat “in all key performance measures”.  Dodge is also giving the new EV a multi-speed transmission to give drivers “distinctive shift points”.  Sounds promising.

Have a look at the official teaser video below, showing an AWD burnout!
