Spy Shots: Volvo V60 Tests On Ice

We have spy photos of the new Volvo V60 Testing in the snow and ice somewhere in Europe. Set to compete with the likes of the Audi A4 Avant, the V60 will have a lot in common with the recently unveiled 2011 Volvo S60.

Like the S60, the V60 will be available with Volvo’s turbocharged, 3.0-liter T6 engine, which produces 300 horsepower, and 325 pound-feet of torque. It will likely also have the pedestrian detection technology seen in the S60.

Here some fresh photos of the upcoming Volvo V60 Stationwagon while taking some laps at a icetrack during a lovely winter day in Sweden. The V60 is hoping to take some customers away from the Audi A4 Avant, BMW 3 series Touring and Mercedes C-Class Kombi buyers.

Engine options will be the same as on the S60 Sedan.
