Spy Shots: BMW X3 Almost Ready

News I By John Beltz Snyder I April 06, 2010

We just received these latest spy photos of the new BMW X3 testing in Munich, Germany. This is the most naked we’ve seen it yet.

It appears a bit bigger than the current X3. It will be powered by a regular 3.0-liter six, a turbocharged version of the same, and a diesel variant as well. Look for it at the Paris Motor Show. That is, if it doesn’t debut even before then.

Have a look at the almost-ready BMW X3 in the gallery, or scroll down for the photographer’s notes.

New spy photos from the streets of Munich show the upcoming BMW X3 in very light disguise making us believe its getting ready for the Paris Car Show, if not earlier. On these photos we can clearly see the front end and a lot of other details due to the lack of camouflage. Size seems slightly larger than the current X3 making it slot in perfectly between the smaller X1 and the bigger X5. The X3 will be powered by a 3.0 liter six cylinder petrol engine with turbo as well as one without turbo and diesel engines in a wide range.
