Rumors: Teaser—The Viper Is Coming

News I By Doran Dal Pra I January 31, 2012
Early this morning, the first teaser shot of the upcoming SRT Viper hit the interwebs on DriveSRT‘s Facebook page. DriveSRT is the official Facebook page of SRT, the performance tuning brand that has been turning out hot MOPAR cars for years. Their latest creation is more of a reincarnation than anything else. The fabled "Viper" moniker, which was killed off a while back, has returned and DriveSRT has released the first of probably a long line of teaser shots of the new car.

It’s not much, but the shadowy shot shows enough to get excited about the Viper’s revival—the NACA duct-esque intake on the hood, the double-bubble roof, and a hood wide enough to contain what is likely going to be a lot of horsepower. Long live the Viper.
