Rumors: Teaser—New Details On The Ferrari F620 GT

As the Geneva Motor Show approaches, we get ever closer to the unveiling of Ferrari’s long-awaited successor to the 599 GTB Fiorano.

A recent report on GTSpirit reveals several important details on the F620 GT, the car tasked with replacing the venerable 599. The F620 GT will get a massive 740 horsepower from its 6.3-liter V-12, which should briskly motivate the car’s relatively slender dry weight of 3355 pounds. With those kinds of numbers, we can expect the performance to be impressive to say the least—The dash to 60 miles per hour should take about three seconds, and the top speed should reach 210 mph. Performance figures like that place the F620 directly in the path of Lamborghini’s newest supercar, the Aventador.

The F620 will also be lower, shorter, and lighter than the outgoing 599, and subsequently, its lap times around the famous Fiorano race track should outdo the Ferrari Enzo, and even the outrageous 599 GTO.
